Xian, May 24, 2016 – Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry is pleased to unveil a travelling exhibit in Xian City, China with special guest Chinese singer and actress Chris Lee in attendance.
Designed to resemble a ‘cabinet of curiosities’ the exhibit pays homage to the Gucci codes that distinguish Gucci Creative Director, Alessandro Michele’s aesthetic vision. The products are showcased as treasured belongings, telling their own story, their beauty enhanced through engaging displays. With its smoked black semi-transparent screens and use of colored velvets, studs and Gucci’s signature ‘Herbarium’ print, the atmosphere is unique and special.
On display are the most recent watch and jewelry lines and novelties from Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry. The new models include: timepieces first seen on Gucci runway shows, new creative interpretations of the G-Timeless watch, the brand-new ‘GG2570’ collection, Diamantissima dress-watches as well as characterful jewelry such as Le Marché des Merveilles, Icon and Gucci Flora lines. All of these collections bring Alessandro Michele’s unique vision to life. The myriad of symbols that he draws upon – the honeybee, heart, stars, studs and motifs from the animal kingdom – provide a rich source of inspiration and bring new depth of detail and meaning to the latest timepieces and jewelry.
The Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry Travelling Exhibit will be on display at Ginwa Bell Tower Shopping Center in Xian, Shaanxi Province from May 23rd to May 29th. The Exhibit will be travelling across Asia and installed in premium department stores.
